2014 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (Pinot Noir)
Domaine Faiveley's Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru vineyard is located in the northern part of Cote de Beaune. The 2014 vintage is 100% Pinot Noir matured in oak for 16 to 18 months, in 19th century vaulted cellar for optimal ageing conditions.
This Charmes-Chambertin from Burgundy reveals a dark-ruby hue and a lovely bouquet of red fruits, spices and flowers. The palate offers full-body, strength, and elegance, with silky tannins. The 2014 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru requires a few years of keep before peaking: can be enjoyed between 2024 and 2029.
