Description
A rich and persistent Hermitage white wine
A white wine elaborated exclusively with Marsanne and produced in the Hermitage appellation, the Hermitage "Les Miaux" by Ferraton Père & Fils benefits from a vineyard planted on an exceptional terroir of clay-limestone soil with sand and pebbles on the surface, as well as terraces with rounded pebbles. The wine is aged on fine lees, in oak barrels and vats, for 10 to 12 months, depending on the year.
The Hermitage "Les Miaux" 2016 of Ferraton Père & Fils with its bright golden green colour and golden reflections, reveals complex aromas on the nose, offering aromas of quince, pear and honey. On the palate, the wine is extremely rich and offers flavours consistent with the nose with honey, as well as expressions of peaches and ripe apricots. The finish is long and expresses a beautiful persistence of aromas.
The main purpose of this commentary is to describe the general profile of the wine presented. It is therefore called into question with the natural evolution of various characteristics of the wine over time.
