The estate

Officially founded in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot, the Louis Jadot House is a true institution in Burgundy, France. The family's winemaking history, however, dates back even further, with the acquisition of its first vines as early as 1826. Over the decades, the company expanded across the region's various appellations, building a solid reputation founded on balance and prestige. Since 1985, the estate has been led by the Kopf family, owners of Kobrand, while maintaining a close connection with the historic family lands gathered under the Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot.

The vineyard

The "Les Fuées" Climat is a prestigious Premier Cru located in the northern part of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation. Sitting mid-slope at an altitude ranging from 265 to 295 metres, this terroir benefits from an eastern exposure that promotes a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes. The vines thrive on shallow soils composed of limestone and clay marls, giving the wine its distinctive minerality.
