Tasting
Appearance
Golden in colour, with green highlights.
Nose
The nose combines white-fleshed fruits, white flowers and a hint of honey. Notes of toasted dried fruits complete the picture.

On the palate, the wine is generous while retaining freshness. It finishes on a harmonious note.
A Pouilly-Fuissé from Louis Jadot, a fresh and textured Chardonnay from Burgundy
The estate
Founded in 1859 in Beaune by Louis Henry Denis Jadot, Louis Jadot is both a négociant and a vineyard owner in Burgundy, with holdings spread across the Côte d'Or, the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais. Owned by the Kopf family since 1985, it champions a light-handed approach to winemaking, true to the motto traditionally associated with the house, "Burgundy and nothing but Burgundy". It established itself in Pouilly-Fuissé with Domaine J.A. Ferret, acquired in 2008.
The vineyard
This Village-classified Pouilly-Fuissé is a white wine from limestone slopes of Jurassic origin in the Mâconnais. The grapes come from the house's partner growers. They are harvested by hand, which preserves the aromatic freshness of the Chardonnay.
Winemaking and ageing
For this Pouilly-Fuissé Village 2025, the grapes are gently pressed as soon as they arrive at the winery. Fermentation and ageing take place partly in stainless steel tanks, to preserve the purity of the fruit, and partly in oak barrels. This ageing adds texture and complexity without imparting pronounced vanilla or toasty notes to the wine.
Grape variety
Chardonnay.
