Roberto Voerzio : Cerequio 2009

Piedmont - Barolo - Red - 14.5° Roberto Voerzio Roberto Voerzio 2009 J1158/09
  • Parker : 94
  • J. Robinson : 17,5
Dark ruby with a garnet edge. Deep and warm with herbs, hay, leather, tobacco, blackberries, jam, cocoa and liquorice. Powerful and focused, The Barolo Cerequio 2009 is melting into long juiciness with firm, ripe tannins. A great Cerequio.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
In theme with the qualities of this vineyard cru, the 2009 Barolo Cerequio shows increased weight and structure. The wine is in no way heavy or flat. In fact, it feels infused with remarkable energy and zest. Black fruit, pipe tobacco, licorice and dried mint find perfect integration. In the mouth, the wine's sheer power has been wrapped within a cloak of silky tannins. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2035.
