2008 Barolo, pure Nebbiolo from Piedmont

The 2008 Big’d Big of Rocche dei Manzoni displays a ruby-tinted dark and intense red colour. The nose is strong on ripe red berry aromas such as blue berry, raspberry or even cherry, but also more toasted and spicy notes such as vanilla. On the palate, the 2008 Big’d Big is round with elegant tannins and a persistent finish. The pure Nebbiolo Barolo was aged for 36 to 48 months in wooden barrels, and then for 12 months in bottles before being put on sale.
