Guado al Tasso 2012 from Anitinori : A long and elegant Bolgheri Superiore
Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso from Antinori is a red wine produced in the Bolgheri Superiore appellation. The vineyard is planted on rocky soil with a light-base of limestone. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for one year until the best plots are blended. Then the wine is aged for 6 months before bottling. Antinori's Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso 2012 d'Antinori is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.
Guado al Tasso 2012 from Antinori emits ample aromas of mint, mocha, plums and spices that develop in an energetic way. The tannic structure is strong, full and silky. The wine reveals itself to be long and elegant.
