The Brut Vintage 2004 from Laurent-Perrier is an exceptional wine from a mixed year. After spring storms followed by episodes of hail the trend was reversed, giving way to a beautiful Indian summer very favorable to the ripening of the grapes. This Champagne is made from Chardonnay's Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs -Avize, Cramant, Oger, Mesnil sur Oger, Chouilly- and Pinot Noir's Grand cru from the Reims Mountain -Verzy, Mailly, Ambonnay Verzenay, Ay, Bouzy- with a 50/50 blend. The Brut Vintage 2004 from Laurent-Perrier has a beautiful golden yellow robe and contains fine and persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and open with notes of candied fruit and stewed. On the palate this Champagne is nice for well-rounded and balanced ending on a final fresh full complexity.
