The vineyard of 3 hectares is divided into 4 neighbouring plots, planted on clay-limestone soils, which are predominantly clayey. The wine is matured in oak barrels for an average of 15 months.
With its dark ruby colour, the Clos du Roi 2016 of Château de Chamirey reveals aromas of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant). Structured in the mouth, the Clos du Roi 2016 of Château de Chamirey displays an exceptionally long finish.
