2012 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru, Chardonnay, Burgundy.
The 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos du Chateau Blanc of Chateau de la Maltroye comes from a plot of 1.18 hectares, monopole of the Domaine. The Chardonnay vineyard is planted in front of the Chateau in the South-East of Chassagne. The 2012 Clos du Château Blanc displays a green-tinted straw colour. The nose is fresh, fruity and combines floral aromas with fruity notes, the whole in perfect harmony. On the palate, the wine is airy and fresh, closed by a very aromatic and persistent finish.
