Description
2009 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe
Chateau Fombrauge is one of the oldest domains of Saint-Emilion with origins dating back to the 16th century. The 2009 Chateau Fombrauge is 80% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc et 8% Cabernet Sauvignon produced from vines averaging 30 years old.
This Grand Cru Classe from Saint-Emilion boasts pleasant maturity, lovely concentration, and superb density. The nose exudes truffles, graphite, blackberry, and blueberry. The palate offers full, creamy, dense, and juicy texture. Lush fruit flavours and texture largely command over abundant tannins.
