This year, the blend of Sociando-Mallet 2015 is composed of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 55% Merlot. The aromas, the concentration, the solid strength, the structure and the elegance in the mouth allow this Haut-Médoc to be one on the best vintages of its category. In the nose, floral notes (red roses) and black fruits dominate the aromas giving generosity and freshness. The tannins offer dynamism, both finesse and strength with an expressive finish. The blackberry and blueberry sensations are much appreciated and reflect what has been primary detected on the nose. This wine has a great aging potential.
