2011 Pessac-Leognan Cru Classe
The 2011 Domaine de Chevalier white displays a very clear, pale hue which suggests liveliness. The nose exudes bold, complex, and intense fragrances: citrus, and vine peaches. The swirl reveals more minty notes with smoky accents adding to the complexity of the aromas. The attack is straight, with underlying solid sharpness creating mineral expressions (typical Graves style) and luscious fruits. This Pessac-Leognan boasts elegance: precise, tense, straight, and balanced. Very promising!
