Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2015 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes demanded more coaxing on the nose compared to the immediately expressive Bourgogne Terroir d'Exception that I tasted right before. Eventually it reveals scents of chalk and cooking apples, although I would have liked more intensity. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity on the entry, fine tension and decent weight towards the lemongrass-tinged finish that just cuts away a tad swiftly.
