The 2014 Echezeaux Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley is only composed of Pinot Noir. This Cote de Nuits Grand Cru is famous for the high quality of its terroirs and wines.
The wine displays a limpid and dark ruby red colour. The complex and very pleasant nose offers a large aromatic palette of fruity and smoke notes. On the palate, the 2014 Echezeaux Grand Cru is round and fruity, followed by blended and silky tannins that confer it a good aromatic persistence on finish. The wine carries a balanced and full-bodied structure that foreshadows a great ageing potential.
