The estate
For several generations, the Devillard family has been dignifying the exceptional terroirs of the Côte de Nuits in the Mâconnais through great Burgundy wines recognised for their finesse and aromatic palette. The Devillard family owns 4 properties: the Domaine des Perdrix, the Château de Chamirey, the Domaine de la Ferté and the Domaine de la Garenne. It is also at the origin of various and varied ranges, including Le Renard.
The wine
The Bourgogne Chardonnay 2019 from the Le Renard range is a Burgundy wine from a selection by the Devillards of vineyards that authentically express the aromatic richness of this flagship grape variety of the region.
Winemaking and ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand, then delicately pressed. Fermentation takes places in oak barrels. Ageing is carried out over a period of 12 months before bottling.

Tasting
Colour
The wine has a pale yellow colour with golden highlights.
Nose
The nose presents a bouquet of ripe white fruit mingled with scents of white flowers and honey, with a subtle mineral hint.
Palate
The palate shows itself to be ample, delicious and wonderfully lively. The fruity flavours mingle with notes of hazelnut and brioche, leading to a long finish.
Food and wine pairing
This Burgundy white wine pairs with seafood dishes, fish that is grilled or in sauce, goat’s cheese or roast poultry.
