The Elegance and Structure of a Premier Cru from Burgundy

The Estate

Founded in 1797 by Jean Latour in Beaune, the Louis Latour estate remains a family-owned property managed by the 11th generation of the Latour family. Based in Burgundy, it constitutes the largest Grand Cru estate in Côte d'Or, with prestigious parcels in Aloxe-Corton and Corton. A pioneer of modern winemaking techniques since the 19th century, Louis Latour is distinguished by its two-century-old historic cellars and exclusive mastery of emblematic parcels like Corton-Charlemagne, combining Burgundian tradition and viticultural innovation.

The Vineyard

The "Les Chaillots" climate takes its name from the stony soil that characterizes this parcel of Aloxe-Corton. Located in Côte de Beaune, this terroir is composed of clay, sand, and alluvial gravel. The vines are on average 35 years old.

Vinification and Aging

Manual harvesting followed by traditional vinification in open vats with full malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place for 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels with medium toast, with 35% new barrels from Louis Latour's cooperage.

Grape Variety

100% Pinot Noir.
