Tasting
Appearance
This wine reveals a deep ruby colour, adorned with profound cherry highlights.
Nose
The aromatic bouquet opens with notes of blackcurrant and redcurrant, harmoniously intertwined with hints of liquorice, spices, violet and rose petal, all underscored by subtle nuances of undergrowth.
Palate
Combining opulence and elegance, the palate offers smooth and silky tannins carried by a beautiful liveliness. It reveals delicate flavours of rose and raspberry, marking a complex profile of remarkable finesse.
Food and wine pairing
This cuvée pairs wonderfully with characterful meats such as a venison stew or a sautéed doe with pepper accompanied by a celeriac purée. It will also enhance a duck confit, dishes with mushrooms or truffles, as well as a Soumaintrain cheese.

For optimal tasting, it is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature between 16 and 17°C. Endowed with excellent potential, this Latricières-Chambertin Grand cru 2015 can be enjoyed until around 2030.
The elegance of a Burgundy Grand Cru by Louis Latour
The estate
Founded in 1797, the Louis Latour House is a historic estate based in Aloxe-Corton, in Burgundy. Today led by Florent Latour, the estate spans 48 hectares, including 27 hectares classified as Grand Cru, making it the largest owner of this category in the region. Operating as a négociant-éleveur, this prestigious brand stands out for its own integrated cooperage, a unique asset. Committed for decades to sustainable viticulture, the family has passed down exceptional expertise from generation to generation.
The vineyard
The terroir of Latricières-Chambertin lies south of the famous Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits. The vines, averaging 40 years of age, thrive on a stony and shallow soil, composed of a limestone base, chalk, gravel and clay. Set on flat terrain refreshed by the Combe de Grisard, this Climat benefits from particularly cool conditions. Yields are kept to 35 hl/ha and the harvest is carried out by hand.
The vintage
The year 2015 is recognised as a fabulous period for the region. Weather conditions allowed for a concentration reminiscent of 2005, combined with the sensuality of 2010, thus offering rich, juicy harvests of great refinement.
Vinification and ageing
The vinification of this Latricières-Chambertin Grand cru 2015 is carried out traditionally in open vats, with malolactic fermentation completed at 100%. The wine then benefits from 10 to 12 months of ageing in 100% new French oak barrels with medium toast, crafted by the estate's own cooperage.
