The estate
The largest wine estate in Burgundy, Louis Latour boasts a winemaking history of over 200 years. Spread across the finest Premier and Grand Cru parcels from the Côte de Beaune to the Côte de Nuits, the estate’s 50-hectare vineyard produces a range of wines from 130 appellations, each expressing with authenticity and refinement the unique characteristics of its original terroir.
As a renowned Burgundy estate, Louis Latour has been actively committed since 1996 to sustainable and environmentally respectful viticulture.
The vineyard
This cuvée is a Vosne-Romanée wine from the "Les Chaumes" parcel, located at the same altitude as the village of Vosne-Romanée and north of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The vines, on average 30 years old, are grown on clay-limestone soil. The term "Chaumes" indicates that this land was uncultivated before becoming a vineyard.
Winemaking and Aging
Manual harvest. Traditional fermentation in open vats. 10 to 12 months of aging in oak barrels, 40% of which are new.
Grape variety
Pinot Noir (100%)
