Fattoria Aldobrandesca estate is located near the town of Sovana, in the remaining wild portion of southern Maremma in Tuscany. The very fertile region offers varied soil. The Antinori family acquired Fattoria Aldobrandesca in 1995: 193 hectares of mild slopes perched 200 meters above sea level, with volcanic origins and tufa sub-soil. The soils boast different colours: pumice white, yellow, garnet red and volcanic rock black. The region’s microclimate favours the growth of international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Malbec. Fattoria Aldobrandesca is largely recognized worldwide.
