The Chablis 1er Cru The Beugnons of Albert Bichot Domaine Long-Depaquit is a single-varietal Chardonnay white wine produced in the Chablis 1er Cru appellation. Aged 25 years on average, the 2.3-hectare vineyard is planted in very white clay-limestone soils with a strong presence of calcareous scree. The ageing of the Chablis 1er Cru The Beugnons 2013 by Albert Bichot Domaine Long-Depaquit is carried out in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 12 months.
At tasting, the Chablis 1er Cru Les Beugnons 2013 by Albert Bichot Domaine Long-Depaquit develops on the nose fragrances of fresh fruits (vine peaches, apricots). On the palate, the wine is very complex and extremely fresh. One may easily note tasty mineral touches (the barrel of gun, flint). It can easily be consumed now but can just as well be kept until 2021.
Please note that the organoleptic qualities of a wine evolve over time. This tasting note is relevant to the wine at the time of the tasting.
