Description
2009 Beaune 1er Cru, Chardonnay, Burgundy.
Since 1791, Bouchard Pere & Fils has safely kept this white 1er Cru monopole of 1.98 hectares. On this vineyard, in Beaune, were found the oldest traces of the Chardonnay grape-variety. The 2009 Beaune Clos Saint-Landry is 100% Chardonnay.
This wine displays a pale golden yellow colour with green highlights. The nose reveals an intense bouquet with pleasant and harmonious tannins. The 2009 Beaune 1er Cru Clos Saint-Landry is rich with expressive aromas and a unique unctuousness. This wine has a great ageing potential.
