Very famous, this plot takes its name from its location on a steep slope, where the vines look cut off due to the nature of the planting on the steep terrain. Since 1775, the house of Bouchard Père & Fils has owned a small portion of this Premier Cru vineyard. The 2011 Volnay Premier Cru Taillepides reveals a garnet red robe with violet notes. On the nose, the bouquet is complex, offering scents of red and black fruit mixed with smoke and liquorice. Fragrant, fresh and fleshy on the palate, this Taillepides wine is characterized by ripe tannins.
