Description
A smooth and refined Blanc de Blancs Brut champagne
The producer
Founded in 1949, the Jeeper Champagne House takes its name from the vehicle, the Willys Jeep, that the creator of the estate used to drive around his vineyard.
Acquired in 2009 by Nicolas Dubois, a self-taught wine enthusiast, Jeeper joined forces in 2013 with Michel Reybier, owner of Château Cos d'Estournel (Saint-Estèphe) and with former basketball player Tony Parker from 2002.
The vineyard
Jeeper reigns over a vineyard of round 50 hectares that spread over the illustrious terroirs of Champagne, namely the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley.
The wine
This Cuvée Grande Réserve Blanc de Blancs Brut by Jeeper is made from vineyards located on hillsides and resting upon limestone soils.
The dosage of this Brut Champagne is 7g/litre.
Vinification and ageing
Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. 40% of the juice is aged for 2 years in oak barrels before ageing on laths for a minimum of 5 years.
The blend
Cuvée Grande Réserve Blanc de Blancs Brut by Jeeper is a 100% Chardonnay.
