The vintage year of 2008 produced a delicious yield. Chateau Clos de Sarpe vineyard lies on homogeneous soils. The vines grow on clay-limestone single-slope, on a steep hillside facing south-east. Cherry red hued, the rich nose gives off red berries, oriental spices, gingerbread, and cashew notes. Fresh and mild, the palate is pleasant, with round, accessible tannins. The Saint-Emilion’s delightful finish reveals spicy notes with delicate wood.
