Description
2010 Saint-Emilion, Grand Cru Classé, Bordeaux.
The Chateau Clos de Sarpe estate stretches over 4 hectares of land. This small property is located in the Saint-Emilion appellation. The old vines and low yield allowed the production of this 2010 composed of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
The wine was specially vinified in order to obtain a pure, more modern expression of the terroir. This great vintage from Bordeaux is characterised by its finesse and the good balance of its tannins. The 2010 mild weather created favourable condition for Chateau Clos de Sarpe which obtained well-aged grapes. This wine has a great ageing potential.
