Château de Chamirey : Mercurey 1er cru "Les Cinq" 2014

2014 Mercurey Premier Cru, pure Pinot Noir, Burdungy.

This Burgundy wine is a blend of the five best barrels (Burgundy barrels of 228 litres) of the five red Premier Crus of Domaine Chamirey. The 2014 Mercurey Premier Cru Les Cinq is pure Pinot Noir. 
The wine displays a beautiful cherry ruby-tinted red colour. On the nose, it gives off fruity aromas of kirsch and alcohol soaked cherries, but also pepper and white tobacco notes. The 2014 Mercurey Premier Cru Les Cinq offers a fruity palate with fine and delicate tannins. The finish reveals a good acidity and makes this wine an excellent worth-keeping wine. It can be tasted between 2020 and 2024.
