A 100% Pinot Noir red wine, Les Cinq of Château de Chamirey comes from a selection of the best parts of the estate’s five Mercurey 1st Growth, planted with red grapes. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils predominantly made of clay. The wine is aged for about 15 months in oak barrels.

With its dark ruby colour, the Mercurey 1er Cru Les Cinq 2016 of Château de Chamirey develops a concentrated nose that reveals notes of black fruits, Morello cherries and pepper. Structured on the palate, the Les Cinq 2016 of Château de Chamirey reveals a beautiful tannic structure before displaying a finish of great elegance.
