A gourmand and refreshing Mercurey blanc village
The Mercurey blanc Village of Château de Chamirey of the Domaines Devillard is produced 100% from Chardonnay grown on 6 different plots. This wide range of characters gives this wine an originality and a certain complexity. Each plot expresses its own character. Most of the plots have clay-limestone, predominantly calcareous, soils.
The Mercurey white Village 2016 of Château de Chamirey of Domaines Devillard is adorned with a pale gold colour. The nose is expressive, showing generous aromas of white fruits, including peach. Stirring reveals a more mineral and floral character. The mouthfeel is bold and the wine develops delicious fruit on the mid-palate. A white Burgundy that is a pleasure to share with friends.
