2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (Chardonnay)
Chateau Maltroye's 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Château Blanc displays a green-tinter straw colour. The nose reveals mineral, flowers, but also fruits (exotic fruits and citrus). Strong palate with a long, dense finish marked by orange blossom, iris, and lemon. This Burgundy vintage is produced from Chardonnay vines ageing over 50. The 1.18 hectare (2.91 acres) parcel is located in front of the castle, south-east of Chassagne village.
