The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Vigne Blanche was produced by Château de la Maltroye. The vineyard is located on a very deep, rich and clayey terroir of 1.06 hectares. This cuvee was aged in oak barrels, of which 30% were new barrels, for 12 months. The 2009 Morgeot Vigne Blanche reveals a straw-tinted yellow colour and an elegant and fresh nose, on complex notes of white flowers and ripe fruits. On the palate, this wine is rich and thick with a fresh, aromatic finish.
