David Duband's 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is produced from 65-year old Pinot Noir vines. The vintage displays an intense garnet colour with cherry-red shades. The nose is immediately pleasant with black fruit, spices, and delicate hints of wood. This Burgundy is frank and full, and with a lovely fresh finish.
