2008 Pommard Premier Cru, Burgundy.
The 2008 Pommard Premier Cru Les Croix Noires from Domaine de Courcel reveals a ruby-tinted intense and limpid red colour. The nose gives off mild spices but also stewed cherry or prune fragrances. On the palate, the 2008 Les Croix Noires combines fine tannins and a good freshness. The finish is long and nervous.
