The 2009 Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Le Cailleret of Domaine de la Pousse d'Or is a quality dry white wine, which is what the appellation is known for, from a vineyard of less than 1 hectare. This pure Chardonnay wine enjoys good cultivation conditions with a South-East orientation and a stony, mainly limy soil. The vineyard was cultivated as naturally as possible, without pesticide or weed killer in order to obtain a nice supple soil. The 2009 Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Le Cailleret of Domaine de la Pousse d'Or was aged on lees in oak barrels (50% new-ageing barrels) for a year. A good mineral character and pastry aromas are felt on the palate, with a hint of fruity and floral aromas.
