The 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Chaumées reveals a very pale colour. The 2014 Premier Cru Les Chaumées from Domaine Hubert Lamy offers a fine, grilled and vanilla -flavoured nose enhanced by fresh fruit notes. This Burgundy wine possesses a round, strong and rich palate with a fresh finish. This worth-keeping wine can be tasted between 2017 and 2024.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru les Chaumées has a more conservative nose than the Macherelles, more restrained perhaps but it is still fresh and well defined. The palate is nicely balanced with good salinity on the entry, a keen line of acidity gently building in the mouth towards a brisk, lively, lightly spiced finish. Again, this is a very complete Chassagne from Olivier Lamy, even if it does not quite have the daring-do of his finest Saint Aubin.
