The 2014 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet from Domaine Faiveley is only made of 55 year old vines of Chardonnay.
This white wine displays a light and bright yellow colour. The nose combines strength and finesse as well as white and yellow fruits, white flower (acacia and orange tree) and just baked brioche aromas. The 2014 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet offers a fine and distinguished palate which offers an aromatic palette of stewed fruits and candied citrus fruits. The very persistent finish is fresh and tangy. The 2014 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet is a fine wine with an ageing potential of about 10 years.
