Tasting
Appearance
The wine displays an elegant, deep garnet hue.
Nose
The nose reveals lovely complexity, dominated by aromas of red fruits, with notes of blackcurrant and violet.
Palate
The expressive and nuanced palate reveals flavors of mocha, blackcurrant, pepper, and a subtle vegetal touch reminiscent of chlorophyll. The finish impresses with its remarkable length.

Vineyard
Since the 12th century, Clos Vougeot, formerly owned by the Cistercian monks of Cîteaux, has been dedicated to vine cultivation. Today, the wines of Clos Vougeot represent the largest Grand Cru appellation in Burgundy, with 52 hectares of vines and 80 different owners.
Winemaking and Aging
100% malolactic fermentation in open vats, followed by aging in new French oak barrels for 10 to 12 months.
