Olivier Leflaive : Bâtard-Montrachet Grand cru 2006

Olivier Leflaive created a supremely balanced 2006 Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru. The vineyard lies on Mont Rachet slopes. The soils' high content of limestone contributed to that flawless balance. The wine displays an elegant, emerald green-tinted, light yellow colour. The nose opens up to white flower notes, followed by a lovely fresh lemon scent, coated with light hints of wood. This Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru reveals a sophisticated palate through a refined balance of delicate saffron aromas and hints of acacia honey. Olivier Leflaive presented a white wine with exceptional length and intensity.
