2009 Meursault Premier Cru from Burgundy.
Olivier Leflaive produced a fine and complex 2009 Meursault Premier Cru Charmes. The word "Charme" refers to uncultivated lands. This Burgundy white wine displays a bright yellow colour with aureolin (Cobalt Yellow) highlights. The nose is typical of a Meursault with subtle grilled toast, butter and fresh citrus fruit notes. This 2009 Charmes is a magnificent and very elegant vintage wine with rich aromas of tangy citrus fruits. Olivier Leflaive offers a strong and nervous, persistent wine.
