A rare cuvée, of which only 900 bottles were produced in the 2016 vintage, the Pernand-Vergelesses En Caradeux of Remoissenet Père & Fils expresses the true character of its appellation in a fruity and mineral white wine.
Pernand-Vergelesses is a small, picturesque village of less than 300 inhabitants, located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, 6km from Beaune, in the Côte d'Or region of Burgundy. In 1922, the name of the village of Pernand was joined with the name of its most famous climat, to become Pernand-Vergelesses.
The Pernand-Vergelesses En Caradeux 2016 of Remoissenet Père & Fils was bottled in November 2017 after 14 months of maturation in the cellars of the estate, located in the medieval heart of Beaune.
The product of a delicate vintage but one of exceptional quality and ripe grapes, the Pernand-Vergelesses En Caradeux 2016 from Maison Remoissenet Père & Fils reveals an aromatic profile marked by fresh white fruit aromas, developing a certain minerality that is typical of wines from this plot in Pernand-Vergelesses.
A great Côte de Beaune wine, which will evolve gracefully until 2027.
