Description
A classic Chianti Classico
This red wine is a blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Mammolo. Chianti Classico Coltassala from Castello di Volpaia, a Super Tuscan, is grown on a 3.50 hectare vineyard composed of light sandstone-based soil.
The 2013 Chianti Classico Coltassala from Castello di Volpaia has a bright ruby-red colour. The nose has intense aromas of vanilla, cocoa and fruit. A well-structured wine with great aging potential.
