The estate
Founded in 1981, the House of Bruno Paillard is an independent family estate located at the heart of Champagne, France. Now run by Bruno Paillard and his daughter Alice Paillard, the company draws on a regional winegrowing heritage dating back to 1704. The estate stands out for its environmental rigour, meticulous management of time and constant pursuit of purity. With a 25-hectare vineyard, the House crafts cuvées of remarkable precision, combining long ageing with very low dosages to reveal the authenticity of each cru.

The vineyard
This Coteaux Champenois comes from the exceptional terroir of the village of Mailly-Champagne, classified Grand Cru and located on the Montagne de Reims. The vines thrive on a deeply chalky subsoil, a true water reservoir that gives the grapes remarkable salinity. The estate practises sustainable viticulture, certified Level 3 High Environmental Value. The soils are worked through light ploughing and partial grassing, with no use of herbicides or pesticides whatsoever. Biodiversity is encouraged through the planting of sentinel rose bushes and the creation of flower-filled headlands.
