Description
The refinement and structure of a vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne
The estate
The Champagne Deutz House was founded in 1838 in Aÿ by two Prussians, including William Deutz. One was a wine merchant, while the other specialized in champagne sales. Even before owning their own champagne and vineyards, the two founders handled bottling, disgorgement, dosage, and labeling themselves.
The vineyard
Throughout the 20th century, the founders’ descendants gradually shaped the vineyard by acquiring plots in the finest Champagne terroirs. Today, Maison Deutz is owned by the renowned Roederer family. The distinguished history of Deutz champagnes is defined by a harmonious style, blending virtuosity with refinement.
The cuvée
Deutz embodies elegance with a Blanc de Blancs Champagne crafted exclusively from the finest terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.
Grape variety
This 2019 vintage champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay.
