2006 Champagne
2006 Brut Nature Edition Limitee by Philippe Starck was conceived by Roederer and Philippe Starck (the French designer) teams. This champagne is 1/3 Chardonnay and 2/3 de Pinot Noir matured without malolactic fermentation: a genuine champagne with 0% added sugar. The beautiful golden yellow hue boasts a fine mousse and elegant bubble lines. The nose reveals generous underwood and rhubarb scents wrapped in chalk notes and hints of fresh minerals. The palate, very tense, forward, and tasty, shows aromatic persistence in retro-olfaction and lovely length on the finish. Philippe Starck described the vintage as boasting the elegance and generosity of words that convey champagne concepts. From the zero dosage specialists, this champagne undeniably echoes nature.
