Description
2010 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru Pinot Noir
Domaine Chanson’s 2010 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru is one the most prestigious appellations from Gevrey Chambertin. The very rich climat (specific vineyard in Burgundy) is located at the heart of Grand Cru area, at the top of the slope. The east-facing Pinot Noir vines grow on 15-hectare (37-acre) rocky, limestone-clay soils, while benefiting from beautiful sun exposition. The 2010 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru aged 19 months in oak barrels. This Burgundy boasts an alluring dark ruby hue and pleasantly intense aromas. The bouquet reveals touches of plum, currant, and dark chocolate enhanced with vanilla scents. The palate is generous with beautiful structure, incredibly long fruit flavours, and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and powerful.
