2009 Meursault Premier Cru, Chardonnay, Burgundy
The 2009 Meursault Premier Cru Perrières from Domaine Chanson comes from a Chardonnay vineyard located halfway up the hill in the South of the village of Meursault. The "Perrieres" vineyard is one of the most famous of Meursault associating good richness and great minerality.
The beautiful pale golden coloured wine gives off floral, fruit (such as apricot) and fresh honey notes. The ample, intense, and well-structured wine offers a very nice mineral expression. The 2009 Meursault Premier Cru Perrières from Domaine Chanson reveals a dense structure and a good combination between fruit and mineral character. The finish is long and generous.
