    2010 Puligny-Montrachet Village, Chardonnay, Burgundy.

The 2010 Puligny-Montrachet Village from Domaine Chanson comes from terroirs that are famous for their fine Burgundy white wines. The wine was produced from plots located on a hill and growing on a calcareous-clay soil. This 2010 is pure Chardonnay. The 2010 is characterised by the presence of a true Indian summer which created favourable conditions for optimum ripeness of the grapes. Thus, the Puligny-Montrachet Village 2010 from Domaine Chanson is a complex and strong wine. The latter was aged 14 months in oak barrels; it gives off flower and lemon aromas with a nice mineral touch. The palate is structured and gives way to a lovely aromatic purity.
