Domaine Chanson possesses a 3 hectare vineyard located in the heart of the Santenay's Premier Crus, on Côte de Beaune. The plot is at the top of a hill and grows on a pebbly soil. The elegant 2012 Santenay Premier Cru Beauregard reveals the specificity of Pinot Noir. The wine is the result of a skilful vinification and of a 16 months ageing in oak barrels. The 2012 Santenay Premier Cru Beauregard from Domaine Chanson possesses a good aromatic intensity, dominated by red berry aromas, such as red currant and raspberry, but also pepper aromas. On the palate, the texture is supple and elegant with a good tannic structure.
