2009 Pauillac Cru Bourgeois
Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon is produced from a 7-hectare vineyard located in Pauillac AOC, and owned by Chateau Peyrabon. The 2009 vintage is 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot.
The Cru Bourgeois from Bordeaux immediately offers a seductive array of aromas: violet, spices, and roasted coffee. The wine offers subtle balance without austerity. Creamy tannins coat a strong, dense palate. This very rich Pauillac will gain complexity and elegance over time.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Unclassified growth cru bourgeois Pauillacs are rare indeed, and here is an awfully good one. Spicy oak, espresso and black currants jump from the glass of this medium to full-bodied, concentrated 2009, which is of classified growth quality. This sleeper of the vintage should drink well for at least a decade.
