2014 Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru (Chardonnay)
Legend has it that the Lord of Puligny split his estate between his children. The Lord of Puligny bequeathed thre parcels to his natural-born son: Batard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet, and Criot-Batard-Montrachet.
Domaine Faiveley's 2014 Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru is a Chardonnay with intense fragrances, character, and round body. The wine reveals super balance and a blended finish in true superior Burgundy white fashion. The 2014 Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru offers sharp fruits and toasted hazelnut notes which will develop over the years. This wine should keep for approximately 15 years.
